The "Miss Nicole" is a classic all-wooden Chesapeake dead-rise. . . She is one of the very few Chesapeake dead-rise boats that are used for both Charter and Commercial purposes.
From April through October, she is a Charter boat; from November through February she is used
as an oyster-harvesting boat.
The design for the official state boat of Virginia is based on her hull. These classic wooden boats have worked the waters of the Chesapeake Bay for over 200 years.
She is 38 feet in length by 11 feet in width, with a heated cabin area as well as restroom facilities.
